The Royal Padded Horse Hock Boots are recommended for use within a stable environment or if the hock boots are needed for longer use / overnight stabling etc. For exercise / ridden work and turnout we recommend the Back on Track Exercise Hock Boots with Hole.

The padded royal hock boots provide support and mobility to the hock area. The padded hock boots have a breathable neoprene outer and a padded lining made from Back on Track’s state-of-the-art Welltex® fabric. This soft padded lining covers the entire hock with Welltex and the neoprene outer has a hole over the point of the hock to aid joint flexibility and fit. The Padded Hock Boots are secure and fully adjustable with three sturdy hook and eye closure straps and has an opening for the point of the hock which favours a better fit. The boot is recommended for spavins, thoroughpins and other hock problems.

The inside is composed of 50% cotton and 50% polyester in Welltex, while the outer of the boot is made in neoprene.

How it works:

Ceramic powder is melted into the fibres of the fabric. The Welltex – Material TM Reflects body heat in the form of infra red heat, an energy form know to increase well-being.

Reflected body heat can reduce muscle tension and increase blood circulation which helps speed up recovery from injury as well as reducing the possibility of injury making it really popular among eventing / endurance riders.
