Robinsons Veterinary Gamgee Tissue – 500g, 30cm / 12 inch width. Highly absorbent hospital quality cotton wool, encased in a low-adherent, tubular non-woven cover.

This new improved Veterinary gamgee is now softer, stronger and more resilient. It’s cushioned padding protects and supports fetlocks, hocks and tendons. It also acts as insulation helping to keep tendons and muscles warm when exercising, eventing and travelling. it is also excellent as a wound dressing for infected and seeping wounds and protective wound padding – It can even be sterilised.

Veterinary Gamgee is really easy to use too. Simply cut to the size you need and secure with a cohesive or elastic adhesive support bandage. To avoid pressure points, do not overlap or fold at known pressure points, such as at the point of hock, a ‘relief’ hole should be made. You should change the Veterinary Gamgee dressing frequently if used for an exudative wound.
